On January 23, Needham Kepner & Fish LLP’s Anne Kepner and Kirsten Fish will be presenters for the Santa Clara County Trial Lawyers Association’s (SCCTLA’s) 36th Annual “What’s New in Tort & Trial” seminar.
“What’s New in Tort & Trial” will be beneficial to any lawyer who practices plaintiff or defense civil cases. The presenters will give a comprehensive review of all of the 2018 judicial decisions that will affect tort liability and civil procedures in 2019 and subsequent years.
This seminar is a CLE program and will count as three CLE credits. Attendees can receive their CLE certificate immediately after the seminar. In addition to the main seminar, there will be a one-hour pre-seminar ethics program called “New Rules of Professional Conduct.” The pre-seminar counts as one ethics CLE credit.
SCCTLA will also be bringing in a mobile live scan company to provide an optional fingerprinting service before the seminar. The fingerprinting service is $84.00, and includes all federal and state fees. Keep in mind, under California Rule of Court 9.9.5, The State Bar of California is requiring that attorneys be re-fingerprinted by April 30, 2019.
